This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the tread on these Castle Rock radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Castle Rock tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.
Castle Rock radials are constructed with double steel belts and double nylon cords. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this Castle Rock ST 225/75 R15 radial trailer tire. In a load range D and it's mounted on this 15 inch gray Liger aluminum wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire will be ideal for RVs, campers, and trailers. We'll start with the wheel, it's an aluminum wheel, which is very durable, lightweight, and rustproof. And this one is the Liger series which you can see is a six spoke design in the gray color.
Has a machine face you can see on the spokes and even also on the lips, on the lip a little bit. They do use a nice automotive grade clear coat finish on the front which will help protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches. And also what's nice is right here where the lug nuts go, these lug nut wells, they do use steel inserts in there to help keep your wheels securely in place on the trailer hub, prevents the holes from wearing down, eliminates the need for constant re tightening of your lug nuts. Now the tire that's mounted on this wheel, it is a Castle Rock radial tire. It is constructed with double steel belts, double nylon plies, and it uses a nylon tread firming belt overlay around the tire to help prevent tread separation.
And this is a radial ply tire, so it is great for highway use. Also wanted to show you on the tread blocks you'll notice they have the cuts in 'em and they call that siping. And what that does is that'll help break up the water underneath the tire and then channel it away from underneath to improve traction during any wet, snowy, or icy conditions. This tire is an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer tire. Has the sturdy side roll so they can handle heavy loads, and it is created specifically for trailers, not intended for use on other vehicles.
This does come with complimentary roadside assistance for two years. Gives you flat tire service available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. And this assembly does meet the D O T, Department of Transportation, specifications. The tire will meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard specs and the wheel meets the SAE J1204 standards. If you notice, this wheel comes without a center cap, if you do want a center cap we do sell those separately on our website.
What I do recommend for you is make sure you get your center cap for this wheel. That has a 4.25 inch diameter. That's the size of this pilot hole right here. And your cap is what'll go through this pilot hole. A few specks on this, the diameter on the wheel is 15 inches. The width on just the wheel is six inches wide. Bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that has an even number of lugs like in this case six, it's pretty simple because the lug holes are directly across from each other. So all you have to do is pick any lug hole like this one measure from the center of it directly across to the center right across. And that measurement, which on this one will be five and a half inches will give you the bolt pattern. So this one is a six lug, five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now the wheel lug size they use on this is a half inch by 20 weight capacity on just the wheel is 2,830 pounds. And the tire's size, which will be stamped on the side wall of the tire. Right here, it says ST for Special Trailer 225/75 R15. The R will mean that it's a radial tire. The section width 8.8 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated, is 28.3. And this tire is a load range D which means it's an eight ply rated tire. Does have a maximum load capacity of 2,540 pounds at 65 psi. And the last thing I do wanna mention is this tire does come with a speed rating And the speed rating will be stamped on the sidewall with a letter designation. And where you'll find that is if you go a little bit further around the sidewall right here, it'll say speed rating and it has letter L. L means if you look in there, right after the parenthesis, it has 75 miles per hour in it. So this tire will have a 75 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on this Castle Rock ST 225/75 R15 radial trailer tire in a load range D. And it's mounted on this 15 inch gray Liger aluminum wheel.

Ordered 4 and 1 came with 2 slashes on it, i called and emailed they told me i had to go thru this warranty place, i filled out paper work and nothing was done for me. Use caution when you purchase tires from here because nothing will be done
Bailey at etrailer was very helpful and knowledgeable, made placing my order a breeze! Tire with rim matched exactly with the ones on my trailer. Thanks Bailey!
I've had these for a year on my boat trailer and have nothing but good things to say about them.
Quick service, and when the shipping was delayed by one day they were good with communicating with us.
Tire was great, wheel was great. Valve stem not so much. It started leaking air. I’m sure it was just a bad valve stem but I was broken down on 100 degree day because of a cheap valve stem.
Matches the existing wheels and tires.
Got the tire and wheel a day early, in time for our desert trip.
Great looking tire and wheel and exactly what I needed for a spare.
Wheels arrived ready to go and were mounted without any issues. I sold the trailer a couple months after I bought these, so can’t speak to long-term life of tires, etc.
Great fit for my husband’s trailer. Customer Service is absolutely amazing as well!
I ordered this for a spare. I love dealing with trailer. I rarely have issues and if I do Carol always helps immediately. I rank them 10 out of 10!!
Excellent product. Excellent service! Quick shipping.. Truly appreciated. Thank you for being a beautiful company in every way possible!
Matches the other wheels on my trailer. Great customer service as well!
Packaged well for handling. Exactly what I expected to receive.
It does not appear that these have been balanced, and that would certainly be an improvement.
Nice looking rim and tire though.
Product arrived in good shape and in a timely manner. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase through etrailer.com
My tire and rim arrived on schedule and is a perfect match to the other three.
I only had to wait a week to get back on the road to happy camping.
Fast shipping and exactly as described
